About Us

Our non-profit mission at NVNA and Hospice is to provide quality home care, wellness, and public health services in the community.

For over 100 years, NVNA and Hospice has been a cornerstone of our community. Founded in 1920 in Norwell, our organization was built on a foundation of neighbors helping neighbors. We continually seek to elevate the standard of care for patients with complex health issues and individuals who are terminally ill.

NVNA and Hospice serves 5,000 families each year in 27 South Shore communities. We are the premier independent non-profit visiting nurse organization in the region, and our patients and their families always come first. We offer compassionate care wherever you call home, whether you live in a private home, nursing or assisted living facility, or our Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham.
