As we continue to grow and expand our reach, we are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing & Events Manager to join our team and help us elevate our brand through strategic marketing initiatives and engaging on and off-site events.

Position Overview
As the Brewery Marketing & Events Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing and communications strategies to promote our brand, drive sales, drive traffic to the taproom, and enhance customer engagement. Additionally, you will oversee the planning and execution of on-site and off-site events, ranging from beer tastings and festivals to community fundraisers and promotional activities. This role requires a self-motivated and organized individual with experience in marketing and event management. This position reports directly to Break Rock’s President. Your ideas and input will be heard, considered, and applied. This is an integral role and well suited for an individual who has initiative, drive, and takes pride in the little things.

 

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning/Marketing:

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of on and off-site event planning, including inbound inquiries, logistics, musician and vendor coordination

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to increase attendance and engagement

  • Represent the brewery at various events as needed

  • Manage the brewery's online presence, handle customer inquiries and feedback, and oversee email marketing campaigns

 

Social Media Management and Content Creation:

  • Oversee the production of engaging and relevant content across social media platforms, email campaigns, and websites. This includes planning content calendars, creating multimedia content, and ensuring all content aligns with the brand 

 

Strategy and Analytics:

  • Collaborate with local businesses, influencers, and community organizations to expand reach and customer base 

  • Track performance of digital media activities, including social media engagement, email campaign metrics, website traffic, and community engagement levels

  • Genuine enthusiasm for craft beer and brewing and team player attitude

  • Forward-thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions

  • Knowledge of social media marketing, content creation, branding, and advertising coupled with strong marketing skills across digital and traditional channels

  • Proven experience in planning and executing successful events, showcasing creativity and innovation in campaign development and event execution to differentiate the brewery. Proficiency in generating fresh ideas and thinking outside the box is key

  • Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; must be articulate in conveying brand messaging and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

  • Must be able to adapt to various tasks associated with the position from working in an office environment to being on-site for events

  • Commitment to a customer-centric approach and delivering exceptional experiences. Upholding ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions, reflecting positively on the brewery's reputation and values

  • Additional Skills: Experience with Canva, photography, video editing, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite are beneficial. Knowledge of Instagram, and TikTok trends, and digital platforms such as WordPress, Google Analytics, and social media tools is advantageous. Experience in various digital marketing aspects and media strategy is a plus

Requirements

  • 21 or older

  • Minimum one year of experience in hospitality, service, event management, social media, or marketing

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for planned events

  • Reliable transportation

  • Reside within an hour's commute of Break Rock’s taproom
